The Chapter of Concord was chartered on 2nd November 1887 and consecrated on the 7th February 1888<\/p>\n\n\n\n
In November 2012 we celebrated our 125th Charter Year with a white table dinner and it was well attended by the companions and guests.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Meeting at the Masonic Hall, Yerbury Street, Trowbridge On the fourth Monday in February (Installation Meeting), April, October and November<\/p>\n\n\n\n
The Royal Arch is the continuation of Craft Freemasonry and is considered to be the completion of “Pure Ancient Freemasonry” and members of the craft who have attained the rank of Master Mason are encouraged to join a Royal Arch Chapter. A further explanation of Royal Arch Freemasonry can be found here\u00a0GrandChapter What a great evening was had by all at the Chapter of Concord\u2019s Installation meeting, which was well attended by members and visitors. The Provincial team was in attendance in good numbers. Unfortunately Excellent Companion John Reid was confined to quarters by the doctor, so we had a late substitution\u00a0in the person of Most Excellent Companion David Blanchard the Grand Superintendent of Wiltshire.<\/p>\n\n\n\n All three Principals were outstanding in their ritual.\u00a0Excellent Companion John Cadby was installed as Zerubbabel by Excellent Companion Nick Riley, Excellent Companion Phillip Bullock was installed as Haggai by Excellent Companion John Cadby and Excellent Companion Jim Gooding was installed as Joshua by Excellent Companion Phillip Bullock.<\/p>\n\n\n\n Excellent Companion Nick Riley was then presented with a past Zerubbabel Jewel by Excellent Companion Colin Parfitt, Excellent Companion Nick Riley then thanked the Chapter for all its support during his year in office, especially the members of the Wednesday Club. During his year \u00a3250 was raised for Trowbridge Salvation Army.<\/p>\n\n\n\n After the meeting the Companions sat down to the festive board which was enjoyed by all. The whole evening was a huge success and a credit to the Chapter of Concord.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
